Kerala, Lakshadweep IslandsTravel - Reviews & Testimonials
Kerala has some of the pristine hill stations in India, with the entire Western Ghats dotted with evergreens, rolling grasslands, sholas and stretches of rejuvenating fragrance of tea and coffee plantations.
The wilder side of Kerala has in store some of the best wildlife sanctuaries and national parks in the country with a variety of plant and animal life unique to Kerala.
Glistening brooks and cascades that interstice the hills finally roll down to the coastal plains of Kerala where they laze through verdant stretches of paddy fields, coconut trees and feeds some of the splendorous expanse of backwaters and lakes.
We encourage all those who have visited kerala to post their reviews inorder to know about the quality of service you're getting and also to know about your opinion of the state.
Tourists to the Coral Paradise, Lakshadeep Islands, may also post their comments and experiences, here.
When posting, do NOT forget to mention your package confirmation no.

My experience was great. I took a trip in many parts of Kerala: mountain and see. I liked very much both. But Agatti and the tree house were wonderful.
The people was really friendly. But for us, for european person, your kind of life is different and sometimes we had difficulty to make oneself understood. But this is not a problem only one observation!
Tanks for all
I hope contact you again

Hi Sajani,
My experience in Kerala was excellent. I visited many places in kerala from Kochi to Kovalam.
But, the most outstanding experience was in Houseboat cruise with Keralagreenery. Crew members weer very friendly and cordial. Food was excellent and we had memorable time.
Especially the repsonse of KG people has always been very warm and prompt. I contacted Ms. Paarvathy many a times before my trip and she always paid patience hearing and satisfied my all queries.
I would surely come back to Kerala again and ofcourse to KG..
with best wishes,
Cheers,

Overall, it was a wonderful trip for 8 days. Kerala was as beautiful as it was promised to be and we would recommend anyone who wants to visit to make the time and go. The unique feature that was offered by Kerala was we were at an elevation in thekhaddy and munnar and near the coast in kovalam, trivandrum within hours.
We were very impressed with a few properties while we were disappointed in some. In one location, we were booked into a half built resort that was not fully functional; the management was gracious and tried to take care of us, but we did not have any place to go for new years' eve.
The driver was courteous and punctual, but was unwilling to go even 0.5 km out of his way and this being our honeymoon trip, it would have been nice to have some more freedom when we had a car at our disposal.
Finally, the end to our trip was bad as our flight out of cochin was delayed for 8 hrs and we were dropped off at the airport by the driver at the predesignated time so had to essentially sit at the airport as we could not go anywhere with our luggage.

Hi,
This trip I took with KG was a very special trip for me as it was my Honeymoon. As all of us I wanted to execute this trip flawlessly .... First impression last for ever ;)
But, the folks at KG really took the burden off me to plan a wonderful trip. Starting with selecting a location and setting up an itinerary and making payments were really smooth. They are very professional in there approach and that what I like the best.
Our, arrival at all the hotels we stayed was well informed to the hotel staff and always got a very warm welcome were every we visited.
The rooms and the hotels were better than what we expected. There were enough activities planned for us took keep us busy. As we had a personal car so we were not on a boot camp for time. The Driver was always very patient with us and was very helpfull.
I would really want to give a rating of '*****' to KG and recommend it very highly for any trips to Kerala.
The package I took was K 2807.

Dear All,
This was the wonderfull well organised trip that we experienced. It starts from the accepting the query before booking for the trip to last min of the trip.
KG is well organised in the approach and very well maintain the quality which tempt us go once again through this.
After a busy traffic schedule in blore it was nice moments shared with my wife.
I would really appriciate the miss parvathy(One in KG, Unfortunately could not get a chance to meet her personally to say thanks) answer my queries any time.
As soon as we arrived cochin there was already car with drive ( praveen) waiting for us. He was friendly and was explaining each and every place with much interest.
The information on the website including the hotels they provide is very clear and they adhere to promise which is good. very nice and friends trope.
The hotels and places were well meet the expectations.
Its worth to take up this KG again and i suggested to all my friends ..
Keep it up and good efforts ! I wish all the best :)

Hi,
Deepthi and I were married on 21st January 2007 and we had taken a honeymoon package with KG for 5 nights and 6 days. We were cordially welcomed by Jeetu, the cab driver who was the most wonderful chauffeur we had ever met. Kerala was great in itself being GOD's own country but KG had given us a GOD's own package.
We were driven to Poovar from where we were taken to Estuary Island Resorts through a motor boat. The resort was an island resort surrounded by a lake, a river, backwaters and the beach. I never ever imagined there could be a beautiful place like that. We enjoyed the resort thoroughly. It had a great Kerala Ayurvedic massage centre where we healed our bodies by a 'rejuvenation massage'. Then we went to the beach through a motor boat. The next morning, we took a trip through country boat at 7 AM in the morning which was the best boat ride we ever had. The serenity of Kerala waters filled our souls with peace.
From Poovar, we were taken to Alleppey where we checked in to an A/C Houseboat. It was a dream ride we had through the asia's largest lake vembanaad. The crew were awesome and the hospitality was superb. The food also was great. And beleive me, it was a dream ride!
From there we were driven to Munnar where we checked into this wonderful resort at an altitude, with a nice valley view from the room. The trip to Eravikulam National Park and the lazing around at Munnar was awesome and from there we were taken to the Cochin airport where we took our flight back.
The KG team was helpful throughout patiently listening to us answering our fears and queries and the chauffeur drove us so smoothly through the hilly areas in Kerala, we were overwhelmed by the hospitality. They have constantly interacted with us even after 2 months of the trip taking feedback from us which really shows their commitment to our satisfaction. I suggest you go to GOD's own country with your family/friends but do take a GOD's own package from KG. All the best!
Cheers,

Dear Sajani
Ref K2806
Thanks for the opportunity to comment on our recent holiday to Kerala.
You were very good in putting together a tailor made tour for us and despite the many changes we made to our requirements nothing was too much trouble.
We booked our own flights with Emirates which was OK and from the moment we landed the arrangements you made on our behalf went like clockwork.
Our driver Biju was excellent and he was always willing to help us with any details during our trip, we also felt very safe with him.
The hotels we stayed in were all totally satisfactory and the service and welcome in each one was warm and friendly.
Overall our visit to Kerala was one of our best holidays in recent years and we hope we may be lucky enough to return some day.
If we do we will have no hesitation in booking with Kerala Greenery.
Many thanks once again for your assistance.

OKay. So it had to be our honeymoon tour and we (me & my wife) already had many differences
in opinion(sometimes leading to fights) to choose the right place for our honeymoon. It had
to be either Kerala or Lakshadweep. I was much kneen on Lakshadweep because it's meant to
be silent and it actually gives you a feeling of being outside your country which many of
the honeymooners want to do. So we started enquiring about the availability of any package
at Lakshadweep and though in the begining it looked possible but eventually we were warned
that there could be changes in the schedule of the Ship any time and that took all my
interest away from Lakshadweep and we thought of Kerala.
This time my interest was further down and honeymoon for me was now just a formality as I
knew that I'm not going to get to Lakshadweep by any chance. So might as well accept things
the way it comes. We called up Kerala Greenery several times discussing what would be the
best package for us. Oh yeah, BTW I know KG more in the name Sajini, a sweet female who
assisted us throughout our stay in Kerala.
Package details. Since all cities were new to us, it was getting difficult for us to choose
which package we should go for. We had to select one so we selected a 08 Days / 07 Nights
package including Prestine island, Alleppey, Kumarakom, Thekkady, Periyar wild life, Munnar
hills.
Nedstar Airport Hotel --
Took a flight to Cochin, reached in the evening and relaxed the night stay at Nedstar
Airport Hotel. The chauffeur & car service was good.
The hotel was okay (I would say good) and we could see people starring at us as we could
not speak in their language and neither they understood us. We did some stunts with the
dinner by ordering some speciality of Kerala and it was a good stunt actually.
Pristine Island Resort --
Next morning from Nedstar we were waiting to see the actual Kerala and waiting for the new
chauffeur as they keep shuffling based on the places you travel. Another sweet chap drove
us to Pristine Island Resort and on our way we got looted by the local "Nariyal paani
wallas" as they took us as foreigners and charged as 20 bucks per nariyal :).
Anyways we reached Pristine Island and all my apprehensions were killed that moment. A
BEAUTIFUL place made of a few huts built right in the center of a lake. Just awesome. Tried
some different food here too and had a great time here. It's still one of my wife's
favourite places in Kerala. Simply made like God's own country
Alleppey Backwaters--
Had heard a lot about it and never could envison how will it actually be. On our way to
Alleppey we crossed many tiny lakes and I was seriously not looking forward for this place.
Again, I was wrong. We entered a massive lake in the end. What you could only see in the
begining of the lake was THOUSANDS of private houseboats and that view was memroable.
Awesome. We got ours and that day & night was one of the best times I have had in my life.
They almost take you to a remote place far in the lake and you are in your own world. Boat
moving, noise of the water, pleasant atmosphere, all this reminds us that we are the so
called "lucky people". Fantastic. Salute to the concept of houseboats.
Kumarakom Paradise resort --
Was okay and nothing so great about this place. I remember we walked almost 3-4 kms in
search of birds in the bird century and couldn't find one :). But the food in Paradise
resort was the best of all the places in Kerala. The "fish curry" still makes my mouth
watery sometimes.
Thekkady - Silver Crest Resort --
I remember this as my best visit in Kerala. Unlike my wife, I like places which are full of
people and lots of markets to do shopping. I like buying diff things from diff places of
our country. Unfortunately, of the so many things that we bought from Thekkady, I could not
buy a single monkey. They were in tons guys :)
A beautiful hill station overall
Periyar lake to view wildlife--
Although this gets counted in Thekkady, it's little away from Thekkady. The most
disappointing place. Nothing wrong about the people or the geography of this place. Just
that there are NO ANIMALS / WILD LIFE at all to spot :) Again there is nothing much you can
do on this earth as wild life anyways is near to Extinct :(
Munnar hills
Munnar Woods Resort --
What to say. Tea, tea, tea and plenty of tea. Beautiful. My wife's best visit of the
package. She liked it so much that she wants to revisit only Munnar next time. Very
pleasant climate, hilly roads, LOADS OF TEA everywhere, a good market to shop, lots of
places to hang around including Dams, water boating, tea estates, echo point, etc
Drop at Railway Station / Airport---
The most saddest part of the trip. We both were extermely sad as our trip to the GOD's own
country had come to an end but it will last as a memory in us forever.
HOPE--
we hope the govt takes necessary measures to mantain and further preserve Kerala as a
tourist place and I hope that HOSPITALITY of Keralites remain the same.
Thanks,
Ravi & Veera

Our experience in Kerala was awesome!. We had been to Allepey and Kumarokam. The Houseboat cruise as well as the stay in the floating cottage is unforgettable. The crew members were very friendly, yummy to talk about the food which was served in the house boat it was lip smacking…… altogether the trip is a memorable one.
A special thanks to Sajani for being so patient in answering all my queries infact she gave me a package according to my need… would surely need another vacation ,to the God’s own Country and of course it would be through KG..

My friend and I spent a wonderful three weeks in Kerala in February this year. We visited Fort Cochin and Varkala and had the most wonderful trip on the houseboat arranged by Kerala Greenery, the experience was amazing. We also visited Kadmat on the Lakshadweep Islands, something we will never forget even if it did take 28 hours on the ship to get there, it was well worth it.We are returning at the end of this year to explore some more of Keralas wonderful sights.

Hi Sajini and Parvaathy,
The Kerala trip was a wonderful experience for me and my husband. I am very pleased by your service - prompt responses to all emails, availability on the phone in case of any queries and helping us plan our Kerala trip and making into such a wonderful experience. I enjoyed my stay in all the hotels. Our driver was also a good and patient driver except it would be useful perhaps if he was more conversant in English and was to tell us more about the place on his own accord. Also, The Periyar Wildlife was beautiful except that we could'nt see any other animals other than elephants, bison and birds which was a bit disappointing.
Thanks and Regards

My kerela honey moon trip has been truly a wonderful trip and I can cherish the moments throughtout the lifetime.
The trip was easily planned with the help of the prompt response from Sajini of KG either over phone or through mail.
The driver was prompt to pick up at cochin (had the pluckcard)
He was cordial and gentle.
He took us to the pristine islands for the floating house in the backwaters.
The place was awesome ... the food was good esp. the fish curry.
The boat ride at pristine island was too good.
Next we went to munnar woods resorts at munnar where we enjoyed a chill climate around the tea estates. The driver Ajit was awesome in driving, puntual and understanding us though he could not converse in English.
Totally it was a pleasant stay nad I would recommend to anyone

Keralagreenery...The name itself says everything.
Kerala is absolutely beautiful with its luscious greenery and above all a less polluted environment.
We visited a few places in Kerala in Dec 2006 with our parents and we all absolutely loved it. The best of our trip was the boat ride from Kumarakom to alleppy.
Starting from the airport to each and every destination we went, they were up to the mark. We never faced any trouble with the 5 night 6 day itinerary that keralagreenery.org had for us(K 2721). They organized our trip fantastically seamless right from the pickup and drop off at the airport. And to specially mention, the car chaffauer was really a fantastic person altogether, well behaved and friendly.
Altogether, it was a wonderful experience visiting Kerala which I would do again in future. Adding to that, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to keralagreenery for offering such great services in a professional way.

You can post your experience with our services, quality of hotels, service of the chauffeur, vehicle quality etc
It was our first trip to Kerala. We were confused as to where to go for our honeymoon in India. Finally we chose Kerala as our H-destination. And now, i can truly say that we made a very good decision.
We enjoyed every bit of our stay. Truly said abt Kerala, its 'God's own country'.
This all wouldnt be possible had it not been arranged and taken care by Kerala Greenary.
We are very thankful to KG for their services offered to us.
Looking forward to have many more enclouters with Kerala's natural beauty,

Thank you for organising a wonderful trip for my family in February 16th 07. We are from Singapore and this was my family's first trip to India. We had booked 6D/5N tour to Munnar Hills,Allepay (houseboat) and Cochin.
The following is the feedback that I would like to provide.
Negatives
--------------
We could not go to Eravikulam as it was closed for 3 months every year for breeding. We were not advised by KG on this when we booked the tour. It was the biggest dissapointment for my kids as they were very keen on this one. It was supposed to be the highlight of the trip for my kids.
The HouseBoat was a new one and it was on its maiden journey. The smell of the new paint and varnish was a bit too much to bear especially when you get in to the room. Providing more information about the types of boats and facility available in each would be helpful at the time of booking. We saw boats with TV and an upper viewing decks and wished that we should have taken that instead of the one we had.
Positives
--------------
I was very pleased with the way KG handled my bookings and swift replies did help speed up things to complete my bookings in short time.
The trip was well co-ordinated and did not have any issues with checkin at any hotels.
The choice of hotel was good. We loved the Munnar Woods and the hospitality provided by their staff.
The Driver Biju was an absolute gem. He was the perfect driver one could have. He drove with extreme care and made sure our journey was comfortable even on rough roads. He was always waiting patiently for us whenever we visited an attraction. He was fully knowledgeable about the tourist attraction and all about the locations. I am confident he will make other guests of yours happy also.
The HouseBoat Crew members were very hospitable and the food they served was very good. They tried their best to serve us well.
Overall KG is a fantastic tour operator and we were pleasantly surprised by their efficiency. The booking staff Sajani and Parvathy were quick in their responses via email and took care of all the details. Great work ladies!
I have already recomended few of my freinds and I am confident they will have a good time too as well.

My kerala honey moon trip has been truly a wonderful trip of my life and I could cherish this moment throughout my life. KG helped me with their expert guidance and truly convenient and economic package to match my budget and choice. After my initial research on various tour travel agencies across Kerala, I would say KG has been most reliable and economical of all. It would be hilarious task to find such a tour company with good travel packages that is cheap and also has an excellent customer service orientation.
My trip was bit delayed due to flight delay and KG team reacted well to the situation. The Chafeur was courteous and helpful and Our overnight stay at the backwaters of Allepey was fantastic. The houseboat stay was a pleasant experience - the crew displayed friendly attitude and best hospitality throughout our stay in the houseboat. Food served was first class and house boat was neatly maintained and decorated.
I experienced a very fast response, whenever I called anyone from this KG team or mailed them for clarification. These guys are very friendly, time conscious, predictable and reliable. KG sent us all the paper works well in advance and the check-ins at hotels and resorts went on smooth and timely fashion. From the moment we were picked up from the airport and till we were dropped in back after the tour, I felt as if my very close friend is taking care of me at Kerala.
I would be very soon looking for my trip to Kerala through KG next season.
Thanks to the KG team, the house boat crew and all those involved in making my trip so good in Kerala. Continue with this tremendous quality work! Cheers!!!

We have thoroughly enjoyed the trip and have decided to re-visit the places thru KG. The trip was well planned and the package was reasonable too. we appreciate the ambience & service at all the hotels. The biggest advantage of the tour was a devoted cab. The experience was great.. .
It was End of Jan 2007 when the date of marriage was fixed and Myself, My wife and my young brother were in stage of finalising destination for Honeymoon and we found the website of Kerela Greenary on internet... We called KG team in Kerla... The team was very cooperative and precise over phone... That was the only time we decided to finalize the package... Then we worked out on all the packages and finalized one of them as per our convinence and budjet.
The first day we landed in Kerla, the chauffeur was there on time, so we didnt faced any problem. The tour was planned perfectly and it happened exactly as planned by KG team. The best thing here was the single chauffeur for whole tour, so in just day or two we becam very much comfortable with him. Here i would like to mention that our chauffeur Mr Unnay, he made our tour very easy, being a great person he took care that we didnt get bored in tour and always suggessted places...
Most of the hotels were having very good service and quality of food.
Even we went to small hotels where we tasted the real taste of Kerla.
Over all the experience was great and KG made it best experience of life.
I will not make any false commitment. But in future i would definately plan for Lakshadweep Island with my whole family from KG,
Best of Luck

I was with KG from 19-Feb till 24-Feb-07, overall the trip was great, apart from the fact that it was expensive. The resorts was wonderfull but when I checked out the rates out over there there were huge difference if I would have booked the trip myself.
The driver was co-operative, very punctual always on time.

Hi,
This visit was a great one. Though we were Keralites, but born and brought up in various parts of India. This tour gave us an opportunity to explore not only the greenery and wildlife beauty of god's own country, we also managed to soak in the culture of Kerala through the various Kathakali and Kalaripaitu renditions, not to mention the lipsmacking variety of fish and other sadya. This was a truly a memorable trip and I cannot close without commenting on the chaffeur Sudish, who kept us great company and was a truly nice person to be with.
Have a nice day and looking forward to many more such trips.

Hi Sajani
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to comment on our recent holiday to Kerala with KG.
That was a wonderful and one of the best trip I have ever done in my life... I would like to thank KG for the arrangements that they have made.. their vehicle and all other places where they had done the booking, all places and resorts were very good.
You were very good in putting together a tailor made tour for us and despite the many changes we made to our requirements nothing was too much trouble.
Our drivers both Suresh was excellent and very helpful and we also felt very safe with him.
Overall a best holiday and we hope we will get chance one more time to come there with my whole family... may be next year.
Will see you again Kerala Greenery.
Many thanks once again for your assistance.

Dear Sajani,
First of all I'm really thankful to you for suggesting a very Beautiful Package for Honeymoon.
Rajendra and I were married on 16th December 2006 and we were really confused as to where to go for our moneymoon in India. Finally we choose Kerala as our H-destination. During search I got Kerala-Greenary address on net. And really I mean it, I was very confused whether i would go with this trip or not. But after communication with KG, the trip was easily planned with the help of the prompt response from Sajani of KG either over phone or through mail. We had taken a honeymoon package with KG for 6 nights and 7 days. It was our first trip to Kerala.
And now, i can truly say that we made a very good decision. Our Honeymoon trip has been truly a wonderful trip with KG and I can cherish the moments throughout the lifetime.
I had visited many places in Kerala from Kochi to Kondai Island. But, the most beautiful experience was in Houseboat cruise with KG. Crew members were very friendly and co-operative. Food was delicious and we had memorable time.
Hotels:
The hotels where we stayed all are totally satisfactory and the service and welcome in each one was warm and friendly except Thekkady Wild Corridor Resort. In Thekkady Wild Corridor Resort service was not so good, but Resort was nice. I liked most the Kondai Resort.
Driver:
Our driver Veer was excellent and he was always willing to help us with any details during our trip, guide very well for shopping also. We also felt very safe with him.
Munnar, Periyar, and then Alleppey these are the awesome places. Especially Backwater experience was like a Heaven.
About KG:
I experienced a very fast response, whenever I called KG team or mailed them for clarification.
Overall our visit to Kerala was excellent and we hope we may be lucky enough to return some day.
If we do we will have no hesitation in booking with Kerala Greenery.
Many thanks once again for your assistance.
Best of luck!!!!!

We visited Kerala from Cochin down to Varkala and spent a few days on houseboat as part of our trip. The first boat we were given was very bad, small and in poor condition. When we complained we were switched to a much better boat the following day. Although this disrupted our plan somewhat, we still had fun - the route was beautiful (especially further south, where not as many of the tours tend to go), the boat crews were very nice and the food was delicious. I'd highly recommend a houseboat tour to others, but would just say that visitors should get as much info re the boat itself in advance as possible.

Hello KG,
Trip was excellent. KG customer service was great. We changed the itinerary at the last minute to accomodate Munnar and that was obliged. The chauffers were great eventhough it was tough to communicate. House boat experience is wonderful.
Negatives: The captain of the houseboat was rude to say the least. The cook and other guy were great and pleasant. But the captain acted like a jerk.sorry to say that.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
Thanks.

Our trip to Kerala from 10/02/2007 to 15/02/07 was "THE BEST". The entire credit to make this trip so wonderful and unforgettable goes to Sajani and her team of KearalaGreenery. We have stayed at KondaiLip Resort(Near to Cochin), MunnarWoods(Munnar), Pagoda Resort(Alleppey), Houseboat(Alleppey). All the accommodations were excellent.
Every single detail has been taken care of from the moment we landed at Cochin airport till we took our flight back to Hyderabad. A special mention of your chauffeur Debu is important as he's been of great help to us. He is a very cheerful and a safe driver. This was the most well organized trip topped with professionalism.
Overall this trip has been memorable just because of Sajani and her team's patience, cooperation and thoughtfulness. No travel agent earlier had planned any of our trips as meticulously as you.
Thanks a lot to you and your management who has made this trip wonderful. This vacation has been the "BEST".
Great Job Sajani!!!
We have recommended KG to all our friends who are planning for a visit to Kerala.
Looking forward to come to Kerala again,
Best Wishes,

The boat was beautiful and spotless. Very modern, spacious and luxurious.
The crew were fantastic and KG sending Kalpesh along to ensure our special trip was to perfection was great.
The food was fantastic and cooked to a great standard and very tasty. We were never left hungry and the crew continually gave us fruit, tea and drinks.
Thanks to Sajani for ensuring everything was arranged to plan.
This boat is absolutely brilliant and worth the extra money. Definitely recommended to all

Hi! all,
Our trip to kerala was every bit a new adventure. We visited Cochin, Munnar, Thekkady, Trivandrum, Kanyakumari.
Be it the boat cruise in cochin, on various lakes or the tour through the spice garden it was superb. The chauffer was polite, nice and helpful. The hotels we stayed in were good value for money.
I certainly think the beauty of Kerala intensifies courtesy kerala greenery.
We even troubled Sajani and wanted to change midway and guess what, we were duly accomodated.
Thekkady was total immersion in the kerala culture for us watching their kathakali, the martial art, the massage, etc.
The trip was definitely "the best".
cheers.

It was our honeymoon and, me & my wife had many discussions about the 'suitable' place. Finally, decision was to be made between Kerala (Munnar-Kumarakom-Thekkady) & Lakshadweep. I was ent upon Kerala as I had heard from my friends & collagues about the 'Gree Kerala'. My wife was keen for Lakshadweep as she's fond of beaches, & that to white sand beaches plus crystal-clear blue waters !!! Finally, she surfed for the smart package from this tour operator 'Kerala Greenery'. I talked with Sajani from Kerala Greenery many times about the package details & also the place, Agatti Islands and the resort. She was very convincing in her talk that I finally gave i to my wife's choice & to Sajani's talk !!! I became a it hesitant when Sajani told me about the changing ship schedule, but everything went well, and we would remember as the best tour of our life.
Resort: We had taken a 7D/6N package. Resort is too good, and we were lucky to get a sea-facing room. Rooms are very well-placed with hammocks here & there.
Service is very nice at the resort with people being very humble. Food was also too good right from breakfast to dinner. I had a hunch that vegeterian food won't be nice but to my surprise, it was very good with varieties on all days.
Our package included visits to islands like Paroli-I & II, Bangaram, Thinakkara. It also had fishing ad unlimited kayaking !!! We enjoyed kayaking very much.
We had thought that an ideal place for honeymoon should not be a common one, & Agatti (Lakshadweep) turned out to be so. After coming back, many people have asked me the details of my tour.
We thank Kerala Greenery very much for making our honeymoon such a wonderful time.
Cheers ...

It was our first trip to Kerala. One of our friend came from US and we want to go to pleasant place .We had a wonderful experience in Kerala. Thanks a lot for KG for providing very good accommodation in nice resorts.
It was great that the way KG handled during Kerala strike during my trip. They have re-arranged the schedules & timing to check in/checkouts. A special thanks to Parvathy for being so patient in answering all my queries infact she gave me a package according to my need… would surely need another vacation, to the God’s own Country and of course it would be through KG...
The tour was perfectly planned and driver was very punctual all the time.
There are few things which needs to taken care like
1. At the Thekkady resort the food timings should be informed to the customers.
2. Chefs at the resort are not so friendly.
Thanks

We had excellent time during our 6 nights/7 Days holidays in Kerala thru Kerala Greenery. The food, sightseeing, acommodation etc were arranged and organized the way we wanted. we will come back to kerala again and again . Thanks to KG.
Two area for improvement: 1. The vehicle arranged was not good. 14 seater Travellers had gone thru 4 tyre-punctures during whole travel. Need to make sure to arrange good vehicle with new tyres.
2. Blackberry resort in Munnar was not good.
Thanks again for arranging our trip and making us happy.

Hi Sajani & Paarvathy,
First of all thanks for taking our feedback. I was wondering of options on how I could give one. For me & my wife Preethi it was one of the finest trip we ever had, especially since it was our honeymoon. We were looking forward to a no frill trip and it was exactly what it turned out to be. We were planning to go to Lakshwadweep as one of my friends had gone there. They had recommended KG to us. Would like to thank Sajani for all the help she gave us to plan and book our trip. She gave us various options and dates & with detailed itinerary. We choose to travel by ship while going and by plane on our return. Would recommend if any of you are planning to go to Lakshwadeep to take a flight as this gives you an extra day as we didnt enjoy our ship travel much. But the people on ship were very friendly and treated us well, it was just that we had to sit for a whole day. Once we reached Agatti it was the most beautiful beach I ever saw, especially since I am from Mumbai. A clear beach is impossible in Mumbai.
We were welcomed to the hotel with a welcome drink (tasty coconut water). The resort was wonderful with small cottages to suit our needs. We got a sea facing one with a hammock in front. We went during the april and the place wasnt much crowded. The cottage was neat and tidy and the staff had done their job in maintaining it. The rooms had a lemon grass scent which refreshed us.
The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The local language they speak is Jasri which is a mix of Malayalam, Tamil & Kannada. They also know English & Hindi. The food was very well prepared and they have a choice of Veg and non-veg and both were equally tasty. Fried Tuna their main catch was my favourite. The food was not the same always and they made it a point to keep different varieties daily. Special thanks to the cook. We also loved the tea they prepared, it had a special flavour to it.
We visited islands like Paroli-I & II, Bangaram, Thinakkara. We also did fishing where I was feeding the fish and the staff with us did the fishing. We also did unlimited kayaking. You can also ride a water scooter, glass bottom sail and snorkell around with the sea turtles. There are lots of turtles around if you have to patience to sit on the jetty at the resort and keep watching the sea.
We plan to do another trip again to Agatti some time. Hope the beach remains as it is and a special thanks to the staff of Aggati & the tour co-ordinators of KG specially Sajani for arranging a wonderful and memorable trip.

I had booked through online 3months before. Kerala greenery has helped me for online booking. 1) But they have committed to & for through ship, but when the day came they informed that for return ship is been cancelled and I have to book through flight, which actually cost me more money. I was actually travelling for my honey moon trip and while travelling through ship from Cochin to agathi the seating in ship was so stupid that in between my seat and my wife there is a big pillar, there after I had to get adjusted with other passenger for a different seat. 2) The resort I stayed was agathi, the resort was excellent, great food and great accommodation, but as promised my return tickets were not booked. I had to saty in agathi for 1 more day, cos of which I had to cancel all other appointments, which includes I had to cancel my connecting flight from Cochin to Trivandrum and from Trivandrum to Bangalore. I had canceled both my flights.
The stay at agathi was great the people they were great. But my travel was no good at all. The lady I believe her name was lakshmi, does not know anything at all, she is so irresponsible, when I spoke to her, she states that it’s just one day delay and she cannot to do anything, for which I had to cancel all my connecting flights and my appointments. She even told me to go launch a compliant with the police and let’s see what they can do. She does not even know how to talk to the customer. She is got horrible services and she talks so rudely to the customers.
I believe she should be terminated.

We had our honeymoon trip to Kerala through KG. It was a great trip and will remain the most memorable ever. I would like to thank KG for their arrangements. We had a very plesant and comfortable stay all throught our trip. The people were very friendly, co-operative and willing to provide us with the best services at all times. The places of stay were really amazing with all kinds of facilities. I would definitely refer KG to my friends. Additionally, I would suggest that the packages need to be modified to visit important places. Ex: the sunset cruise and the village walk at Alapee was not that interesting. Instead of these we could have had something else important to be seen in Kerala. This is because, most of our time would go in traveling between places and we would like to see important ones in the remaining time. Overall, it was a nice & memorable experience. Good job KG !!

Hi
I was very impressed by your service from day 1 though the driver came in a Ambassador instead of Indica. But no problem. That is not a bad car. The driver was nice and saved us from tricky situations in Munnar & Thekkady caused by unannounced bandhs. Thekkady wild life boating was a waste but that's not your fault. Less water-No animal. But the booking of ticket there could have been organised better. The tour itinerary could have had Kumarakom followed by Alleppey after Thekkady.
Anyway a nice and thrilling trip for us. Ofcourse I would recommend KG to my friends.

Dear All,
I have booked my tour through KG. When I decided to go to Kerala, I was searching in the internet to know about Kerala tour. Though I have sent enquiries to two or three, KG was the first to respond and based on my requirement they have also chalked out a tour plan. The charges are slightly on the higher side but the service was wonderful. We had a tension free travel, timely pick up, nice stay at Kerala for 5 days thanks to KG

We also had a wonderful time in Kerala thanks to Parvathi and the people at KG. This trip had been years in the making and we were surely not dissappointed. We enjoyed the beautiful and serene sites in Munnar, Thekkady, thru the backwaters and to the seacoast. We were met with friendly and professional service the whole way. Our driver was friendly but most of all delivered us safely to each of our destinations. We were thankful for the comfortable a/c indica vehicle. My selections of hotels were all met and we were most impressed with our stay at the lovely Coconut Lagoon in Kumkarom (definately want to go back there!) Our dream of cruising thru the backwaters was satisfied and realized that one night was enough. The best food we had was on the houseboat, absolutely delicious. Our trip thru Kerala was all encompassing and though it was a bit rushed (one night at each locale) we felt utterly at peace and thoroughly relaxed. We soaked up the hospitality of the people and really just enjoyed this beautiful place on earth. I highly recommend a trip to Kerala if you just want to chill out for a while. Thanks again to Parvathi and everyone at KG!

We had booked for 3days ad 2nights at munnar. Munnar is very nice hill station it was like being in heaven, although we were not able to enjoy full of our trip due to our ill health it was memorabale for us. The reception staff at West Hood were not so proffessional. Trip coordination was wonderful and the concern shown by the coordinator I.e Parvathy.S.Dharan was great. We have enjoyed Kerala very exitingly especally Munnar. Nice pickup and the hotel was excellent . The food there is superb.
We spent 2 days there.
Then Driver changed and we didnt like the driver and also the car the old ambasidor- horible.
Then we went in house boat. The trip was excellent but unsecured when they stopped the boat at a remote place. And again another driver came who was not at all helpfull with a SUMO for only two.again he didnt show us Cochin . The worst thing is he didnt take us to buy kerala chips even when we asked for them. he didnt even took us to station on time.
But the trip was nice with the memories of Munnar and houseboat and the prestine Islands.

Hi Sajani/Parvathy,
Needless to say you guys and your services are commendable.I have travelled twice with your tour organsiation, one was last year in August 2006 and then next was this year May 2007.
Frankly speaking was a little hesistant the first time n was nt sure how the whole thing would be organised but I must appreciate the fact that right from the booking to the cooperation we received and the entire crew & even you manager was very decent and congenial..My first experience compeled me to go for another cruise with you guys but this time with my complete family my in-laws, my sis-inlaws with their spouses and my niece.
And thanks a lot because this was our first trip as a family together and we had the BEST time ever and would always remember it throughout our lives. Defintely the credit goes to your crew and service.I would personally like to thank - Riddhish (cook) & Jayapraksh (driver) from my first trip; also the cook (Dass) and the drivers during our second trip (sorry cant remember their name but the Houseboat was - Dream Houseboat). They all were very polite and very hospitable. This messege is for them specially :-)
Hope to visit you soon..have lot more people on my list who would like to have a good vacation in kerela backwaters :-)

Dear KG Team,
It was a marvellous trip for us. We were on a Honeymoon vacation in Aug' 07. Our package confirmation number was K 2446.Though I was pretty much hesitant to book the slots through a travel agent, but KG showed us a way why they are the best. The hospitality which they extended right from booking the tour tickets to the end of trip, till the driver dropped us at the cochin airport was very courteous. Ms. Sajna and Ms.Paravathy where very cordial and had lot of patience to answer some of the stupid queries which we raised. KG's event Mgr was always interacting with us during the trip schedule. We felt KG's Hospitality as "HOME AWAY FROM HOME"
We spent five nights altogether at cochin, Munnar and Priestline Islands. The accommodation, food and chauffer service was very good which were beyond our expectations.
We are basically from hyderabad, with the busy life which we have here, we have enjoyed very bit of our stay in kerala. We are surely looking forward to come again to this beautiful part of the world in near future... and ofcourse through KG's hospitality services.
Thanks,
Cheers,

In my opinion, a trip is truly memorable when the planning and execution is up to par. And so it was with me and my husband when we booked the KG team ( Package Confirmation No. K 2462 ) for our October 2006 honeymoon to Kerala. Since our time was short, we had chosen Allepey, Munnar and Cochin as our places of visit. My husband had booked the trip from the States and the team always responded promptly. On the first day of our tour, we were met by our smiling driver Mr. Biju from Cochin Airport who drove us to our first destination Allepey. Drifting down the placid backwaters of Allepey in our houseboat that day was truly an out of world experience. Sitting on the deck eating delicious meals, looking at the stars in night and listening to the rippling water. A sense of total peace and contentment came over us.
From the warm tropical atmosphere of Allepey, I was amazed at the total change of scenery when we drove to the cool, hillstation resort atmosphere of Munnar the next day. Our place of stay, Blackberry Hills resort was perfectly delightful. Cut stone paths lined with flowers led to Cottages nestled among the tea slopes. Even though it was in close proximity to the bustling Munnar town, it had a tranquil and serene atmosphere, free from any noise whatsoever. The only downside was the trickling rain and mist - because of which we really couldn't do much sightseeing. Also we had wished very much to see the neelkuranji in full bloom in Rajmala, but to our disappointment we saw only a few scattered bushes in Eravikulam National Park. Apart from this though, we really enjoyed our stay in the resort and the complimentary breakfast provided.
For the last leg of the journey, we went back to Cochin for some local sightseeing before heading back to Bangalore. We thank the KG team heartily for their hospitality and quality of service. Mr. Biju was friendly, accomodative and a skilled driver. Our white Ambassador car posed no problems during the journey. Truly, we both could not have asked for a better start of our lives together.

I had booked 3 days/2night package at Agatti. I and my family had an amazing experience coupled with excellant hospitality at Agatti. We experienced the most memorable moments of our life thereat.
But the real pleasure was talking to Ms. Paarvathy and Ms. Lalitha. Their response was not only quick and satisfactory, but it was also full of warmth. In fact it was a delight to talk to them.
I wish to visit the lovely Island with KG very soon.

Hi KG Team,
We take this as an opportunity to thank you people for your help, service and support extended during our visit to Kerala last year.
Indeed it was one of the best travels we had with you people. Earlier like others we also were bit hesitant regarding the hotels, places, food. etc…
But after reaching there we didn’t feel as if we were in a remote place not to mention the number of times,
we made you to change the travel dates and the prompt support provided by you each time.
We had visited Cochin, Tekkady, Kovalam, Trivandrum and Kanyakumari for a 6Days/5 nights holiday.
We Wish you people All the Best and looking forward to have many more visits with KG.

God’s own country, Kerala is one of the best places, we have visited till now and thanks to Kerala Greenery to assist us in travel, stay and sightseeing and making our trip an unforgettable trip. We had been in touch with Ms. Paarvathy to plan our trip and she had been very helpful in amending the tour as we wanted. By this gesture, th warmth of Kerala people was felt in Delhi itself. We may mention that the sumo arranged by KG was very good and the chaffeur (Mr. Unni) was excellent. He helped us in all ways he could, as we had a bit of language problem. The hotels booked all over were very good. We had an awesome trip which we will never forget. We will definitely recommend KG’s name to people who wish to travel to Kerala as we feel the service provided by them is uncomparable and they deserve a big applause.
Keep it up KG Team.

Hi,
The best thing about keralagreenery.org is that they are very prompt in getting back.
Plus they clear all the doubts which one has before confirming package.
I personally had very nice experience with Paarvathy.S.Dharan.
The hotels provided were among the best quality and ppl were very helpful.
Regarding kerala it’s the best place one can be at to have nice relaxing time (except rainy season).
We had 5 nights and 6 day package (K2393) which included backwaters, Munnar, Tekkedy.
Stay at all places was really great.
I recommend all to visit kerala at least once and please plan your trip with the help of KG

Those were only five days, due to less leaves, but the most wonderful time of our lives,it was our honeymoon. The tour was really well planned nand we did not have to bother of anything ,and this is how it should be. After all, honeymoon is for paying attention on each other rather than facilities around. So it was like we are there for each other and for everything else - Kerelagreenery hai na'.It was a comfortable journey . despite of the hot whether, the tour was cooool.

The tour was fantastic one which started in Poovar Beach. The resort there was stupendous one with all facilities and we really a country boat organised by the resort people. We spent two days in Poovar Beach.
Next day, we were transferred to Boar House. Both myself and my wife Aparna enjoyed the Boat House very much and we cant forget those moments for life.
Next day, we went to Kondai Lip Resort, a calm place with natural beaty.
In total, we enjoyed our honeymoon tour very well.
I wonder whether we would have enjoyed more even when we travelled abroad for our honeymoon.
Simply great.......
Thanks to Kerala Greenery for arranging wonderful Honeymoon Tour, those moments we will cherish for our entire life.
Thanks

keralagreenery arranged a superb trip for my Honeymoon Tour. They have selected nice Hotels with good Amenities. Chauffeur has picked up us from cochin railway station at 3 AM. T^he train was delayed on that day due to heavy rain.We didn't wait at any places. Their arrangements were great. We enjoyed houseboats at Alleppey. It is a different experience. We stayed there for one day. Then we moved to Kerala. Chauffeur was very polite and decent. I must appreciate this. We didn't feel we have travelled long distance. We have spent 2 nights /3 days at Munnar. We enjoyed the greenary. It is a rememerable trip in my life.
Thanks to keralagreenery for the wonderful arrangements.
Thanks,
bala
